Lead the activities of team members in the production of trailers in accordance with company policy to ensure a quality product is delivered on time.
Responsible for implementing, adhering to and maintaining safety standards as required by law and company policies.
Coaches and provides technical expertise to resolve processing issues and creates and ensures corrective actions are implemented.
Manage the scheduling of inspections and provide production updates in daily team meetings.
Set work schedules, provide training, coaching and development, conduct performance evaluations, and set departmental goals and expectations.
Monitors and approves work hours in a timely manner.
Monitors and approves time off requests for assigned area(s).
Acts as a member of the management team and performs other duties as directed by position or required by Sr.
Management.
Monitors and takes appropriate timely improvement action to meet production quality and quantity.
Utilize problem solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, process control, and continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the facility key operating statistics.
Maintains a clean and safe work area.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
2 - 5 years Lead or Supervisory experience preferred.
2 - 5 years trailer industry experience preferred.
Strong people and communication skills.
MS Office and email proficiency.
