Summary:
Keeps production lines stocked of all parts by performing the following duties:
Deliver parts to the line(s) promptly so the production line(s) have the parts that they need.
Interpret prints to determine parts needs.
Maintain inventory of all parts for assigned lines Return all non-conformance or bad parts to be scrapped or reworked; track part number, quantity, and reasons for scrapped material.
Cycle count of parts to be completed when necessary.
Keep parts staging area(s) clean and orderly by sweeping and taking out trash as needed.
Manage part quantities on changeovers.
Maintain the parts buffer and know where the line is with the part quantities.
Any additional function within your department as directed by the supervisor.
Work with other departments to coordinate needs.
Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Knowledge of production parts a plus.
Good attendance record.
Safe work record.
Works well with others.
Must be able to work independently; self directed and motivated.
Experience and ability to operate a sit-down forklift/tow motor.
Ability to read and interpret prints.
Basic PC skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
